Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is having one of the best individual seasons in college football history. On Saturday, he punctuated his Heisman Trophy lead by putting on an offensive onslaught against North Carolina State in the first half.

Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) runs the ball against North Carolina State Wolfpack linebacker Airius Moore (58) during the first quarter at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Louisville led 44-0 at halftime thanks to some more gaudy numbers by the Cardinals' star dual-threat QB, who had 304 yards passing and three touchdowns in the air, while adding 55 yards on the ground and one rushing score. By contrast, the Wolfpack had 52 total yards of offense and zero points. Not bad for one half of football. That gave him 34 touchdowns on the 2016 season, which eclipsed the Louisville season record for touchdowns in a single season. It's Week 8, folks.

His 34 TDs also give him more touchdowns than 88% of FBS teams this season; He has as many TDs as Clemson does as a team.

On top of scoring in flashy fashion — threading the needle on a bullet TD pass — Jackson had this photogenic Heisman pose that went viral on the Internet.

Jackson cooled off in the second half with the game far out of reach. He finished the game with 355 yards on 20 of 34 passing and 76 rushing yards.
