NASCAR returns to a short track this weekend, at Richmond's 0.75-mile oval.

Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 has the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series back at a short track for a third time in four races. Here's what you need to know about Sunday's race:

START TIME: Major Eric Phillips will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:07 p.m. ET.

RACE DISTANCE: The Toyota Owners 400 is 400 laps around the 0.75-mile Richmond International Raceway. That's 300 miles.

SEGMENTS: Beginning this season, NASCAR is dividing every race into segments and awarding one bonus point to the winner of each stage. Segment lengths will be different for every race. Also, the top 10 finishers of segments 1 and 2 will be awarded regular-season points in descending order from 10 to 1. Here are the segments for the Toyota Owners 400: Stage 1: 100 laps; Stage 2: 100 laps; Stage 3: 200 laps.

NATIONAL ANTHEM/FLYOVER: Local talent Sophia Nadder will perform the national anthem before Sunday's race. Team FasTrax Skydive is scheduled to land on the grassy front stretch, followed by a flyby from the Bandit Flight Team and a flyover by two F‐18s from the Navy VFA-83.
