The Hamilton baseball team rebounded from a previous loss to Menomonee Falls with two wins last week. On May 24, HHS beat West Allis Central, 9-1. Hamilton then beat Plymouth on May 28, 3-0.

Against WAC in Greater Metro Conference action, the Chargers trailed going into the bottom of the fourth inning, 1-0, but scored four runs to take a much-needed lead. In the sixth, HHS put things away with five runs.

Ty Botsford went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, and Carson Youngquist had two hits. Jake Macaluso threw a complete game and struck out 12. Hamilton outhit Central, 9 to 2.

In the nonconference contest with Plymouth, Patton Germann had two hits and scored a run for Hamilton. Sam Herriges had two RBIs. Alex Saunders earned the win in three innings of work with two strikeouts.

Hamilton 3-1 overall this season.
