The Lake Country Charity Invitational was held on May 13 at Western Lakes Golf Club and featured 36 teams.
Menomonee Falls tied for fifth in the Division 1 portion of the invite with a score of 324. Danny Sanicki tied for 23rd overall with a 77. Steven Sanicki tied for 42nd with an 80.
Logan Roble carded an 82 and Ryan Sanicki shot an 85.
Hamilton tied for seventh with a 325. Cooper Vance (79) had Hamilton's lowest score. Jared Christensen (81), Rob Weber (82) and Evan Lueck (83) rounded out the scoring for the Chargers.
"All four golfers were steady and solid all day long," Hamilton coach Dan Heckman said. "I'm really proud of how these four played golf and how they represent Hamilton High School. The Chargers raised $1,450 for the MACC Fund, which describes what solid individuals we have on the golf team. This group of golfers has made my first-year transition an easy one and are creating a culture of golf that the younger levels in the program admire and respect."
Germantown tied for 10th with a 333. Sam Johnson led GHS with a 74 and Carter Schmidt shot an 81. Joe Mazurek carded an 85 and Zach Thiel had a 93.
On May 10 at Currie Parker Golf Course, Falls placed second in a Greater Metro mini-meet with a score of 157. Marty Swab led Falls with a 38.
On May 8 at Westmoor Country Club, Falls was fifth with a 179. Steven Sanicki and Ryan Sanicki carded 43s.
Hamilton took sixth at both Currie and Westmoor. Christensen had team lows in both of the meets for HHS.
