WATCH: Dramatic final hand at WSOP Main Event

After winning a stunning hand that gave him a massive stack at the final table at the 2017 World Series of Poker's Main Event, Scott Blumstein was the heavy favorite to take home the $8.15 million prize. The conclusion may have been foregone, but the ending was still as dramatic as they come.

Daniel Ott, the last player standing between Blumstein and the Main Even bracelet, started to chip away at the lead. He doubled up his stack with a pair of nines just a couple hands before being dealt A-8 suited pre-flop. Blumstein was dealt A-2 off-suit. Ott called after Blumstein went all-in, setting up a dramatic finish.

Ott went into the flop with a 57% chance of taking the pot and cutting into Blumstein's massive lead even further. This was a huge hand that would either end the event or swing the momentum in Ott's direction. Here's how it went down…

Amazing! Only three cards would have beaten Ott. He had a 93% chance of avoiding one of those three deuces. But, of course, Blumstein landed one of them on the river and took home the most prestigious prize in all of poker.
