I am 85 now. The only thing I’ve noticed is my short term memory is not as good as it used to be. However, my long term memory is also not so good, but I have also found that my short term memory is terrible.
I saw on TV these running lines of news information. The top line read "The statement below is not true."
Meanwhile, directly below was a second statement, "The statement above is untrue.”
My granddaughter is a big-time nurse, but since age 18 she has had a golf course side job of being a bartender. I told her that bartending is just like being in the medical field, as a bartender is only a small-time pharmacist, with a very limited supply of medicinal inventory.
During Christmastime, a hoity toity relative always does the cooking and uses wine. Occasionally, she might put a wee bit on the food she is preparing, but by the end of the night it is all gone — the food and the wine.
We had a bunch of snow on our roof and I got out my 10-foot ladder to get some off. Well, I fell off my 10-foot ladder, but I am not hurt. Lucky me — I was putting my foot on the lowest rung when I fell into the soft snow.
This past Christmas, I had a horrible time as I experienced an “out of money” happening.
