MENOMONEE FALLS — Three Milwaukee teens, ages 13, 14 and 15, were arrested in connection with vehicle thefts Monday, May 15, in Menomonee Falls.

Police responded to the theft of a maroon Plymouth Breeze on Appleton Avenue and Rivercrest Drive around 10:45 a.m. Officers located the vehicle and a red Jeep Liberty following close behind with a broken window.

Police signaled for the vehicles to stop, but the drivers of both vehicles evaded police. The Jeep was not apprehended and the Plymouth evaded officers across Germantown, Milwaukee and Mequon.

The vehicle was finally abandoned on County Line Road and 76th Street after three occupants fled on foot.

The Mequon and Menomonee Falls police departments coordinated a search of the area, at which time the three teens were taken into custody. Two of the three suspects had warrants for previous crimes.

According to the Menomonee Falls Police Department, the three teens may also have been involved in a series of thefts that occurred earlier in Germantown and another car theft in the Falls.

The Germantown, Menomonee Falls and Mequon police departments are working together to investigate the string of thefts.
