Village of Menomonee Falls - Tracy Turowski Thomann, 49, of Menomonee Falls was charged with theft in a business setting after charging $4,651.98 on company credit cards belonging to CFR Engines Inc. in the City of Pewaukee, according to the criminal complaint.

Between March 8 and July 25 of last year, Thomann allegedly made personal purchases ranging from hotel reservations, gift cards and store merchandise at various retailers.

At the time of the crimes, Thomann was working for the Pewaukee company, which specializes in fuel rating equipment, as an administrative manager.

She was questioned by detectives on Sept. 27, at which time, Thomann admitted to making the unauthorized charges and indicated she would try to pay the money back by pulling funds out of her 401(k).

If convicted of the crime, Thomann faces up to three years and six months in prison and/or a maximum fine of $10,000.
