Burglary

1) Police responded to a burglary alarm at Ron’s Gun Shop, W188 N10707 Maple Road, at 11:55 p.m. July 3. Four or five males smashed the glass on the front door and stole nine or 10 guns.

Theft

2) Laundry was reported stolen at Plaza Laundry, W156 N11056 Pilgrim Road, at 8:15 a.m. July 3. The theft occurred on July 2.

3) About $800 was reported stolen from a residence in the W20900 block of Brynwood Lane at 1:50 p.m. July 6. The theft, which allegedly occurred sometime around June 23, is under investigation.

4) Three males were taken into custody for using a stolen credit card to purchase construction materials at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 12:50 p.m. July 7.

5) Police received a report that an employee stole $1,165 worth of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 12:15 a.m. July 8.

Other

6) A 36-year-old Germantown man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after his motorcycle was sideswiped by an SUV, causing his motorcycle to crash into a mailbox in the N10000 block of Pilgrim Road at 1 p.m. July 1.

7) A 41-year-old Hartford man was taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life after his vehicle left the roadway while traveling north on Highway 41 just south of Holy Hill Road, struck a traffic sign post and median barrier and rolled over in the southbound lanes at 10:40 a.m. July 1. The crash occurred when the man fell asleep while driving. He was cited for failure to control a vehicle. 

8) Police received a report that four or five males with guns threatened a man outside Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16137 Main St., at about 2 a.m. July 4. Police checked the business and surrounding area but did not find anything suspicious. The incident is still under investigation.

9) A 25-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct at Crusader Court and Williams Drive after he got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend at Fireman’s Park at 5 p.m. July 4.

10) An intoxicated 30-year-old woman was taken into custody for causing a loud disturbance at a residence in the N11400 block of Shadow Wood Drive at 11:20 p.m. July 7.

Germantown police assisted the fire department with 15 rescue calls and one fire call between July 2-9.
