Theft

1A 2011 Big Lug flatbed trailer was stolen from the parking lot at Jack Gray Tucking, N56 W13180 Silver Spring Road, at about 11:10 p.m. March 30. Surveillance footage showed the suspects drove into the lot in a silver pickup truck with a burgundy stripe at about 11 p.m., and sped off with the trailer at about 11:10 p.m.

2A rear bumper was stolen off a 2017 Ford Taurus parked in the rear of the lot at Gordie Boucher, N88 W14300 Main St., between 5 p.m. April 8 and 5:50 a.m. April 10. The vehicle’s tire harness, tail lamps and rear fenders were also damaged during the theft.

3A woman with a small child in tow shoplifted five cases of Red Bull energy drink at Woodman’s, W124 N8145 Highway 145, and ignored a manager who ran after her, asking for a receipt at about 1:40 p.m. April 11. The suspect fled the lot in a red Ford Focus.

4A $800 Motorola Droit Turbo 2 cell phone was stolen from a customer at JC Penney, N96 W18515 County Line Road, between 4:45 and 5:25 p.m. April 11. The victim told police someone posted a message on her Facebook account claiming to have found the phone and was willing to return it to the store. The victim messaged the person back, but the phone was never returned.

5A 48-year-old Menomonee Falls woman walked away from the Waukesha County Huber Facility, took a cab to her grandmother’s house in the N8400 block of Allen Avenue, and stole her grandmother’s 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV at about 8:30 a.m. April12. Police are trying to locate the woman.

Drug possession

6A 26-year-old man who was found unconscious and lying on the ground at the intersection of Ann and Dardis avenues was taken to the hospital for treatment after police learned he allegedly snorted heroin at about 12:30 a.m. April 1. At the hospital, it was discovered the man had morphine and other drugs in his possession, and he allegedly admitted taking both heroin and morphine. He is facing charges of possession of narcotics and illegally obtained prescription drugs and bail jumping.

OWI

7A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody for third-offense OWI after his vehicle was pulled over for traveling 63 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 12400 block of Mill Road at 9:10 a.m. April 15. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.21.

8A 48-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was taken into custody for OWI after a motorist reported an erratic driver on Lannon Road and followed it to a residence on Fairview Drive and Orchard Court at 5:45 p.m. April 15. She allegedly admitted drinking alcohol earlier in the day, and police found open alcohol bottles/containers inside her vehicle. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.25.

Other

9Officers went to Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, after receiving a report that a suspicious man carrying a backpack walked into the store with a concealed gun on his right hip had possibly shoplifted some merchandise at about 12:50 p.m. April 10. Police found the suspect, a 26-year-old man, walking on the sidewalk toward Kohl’s, and he was taken into custody at gunpoint. The man was released when police found he did not shoplift any merchandise and had a valid conceal carry permit.
