1A male wearing a pink and blue sweatshirt shoplifted 9 mm ammunition at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, and fled the lot in a silver 2006 Land Rover at about 5:25 p.m. April 13.
2A green 2007 Hyundai Tucson was stolen out of a driveway in the N11800 block of Pilgrim Road between the late evening hours of April 15 and 8 a.m. April 16. The keys were left inside the vehicle.
3Police investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at a gas pump for more than an hour at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, took the male occupant into custody for possession of marijuana at about 3:35 a.m. April 15. He was booked, cited and released.
4A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman who called police to report she was lost and her key broke off in her ignition was taken into custody for third-offense OWI in the N11600 block of Prestwick Court at about 8:50 p.m. April 12.
5A 32-year-old man was taken into custody for third-offense OWI after his vehicle was pulled over for driving recklessly on Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at about 8:30 p.m. April 15.
6A 56-year-old Hartford man was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries after his Chevy Impala collided with a truck that made a left turn in front of him while he was traveling south through the intersection of Maple and Lannon roads at 3:10 p.m. April 11. The driver of the truck, a 65-year-old Richfield man, was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
7Police responded to the N11100 block of Fond du Lac Avenue after a man fell asleep while driving, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and hit a tree at about 6:20 p.m. April 11. The driver, a 16-year-old Jackson boy, was treated at the scene for some minor injuries and was cited for inattentive driving.
8A man was cited for vandalism for shooting a hole through his neighbor’s sliding glass door with a pellet gun in the W16400 block of Carriage Avenue at 7:25 p.m. April 15. The man told police he shot the door with his pellet gun while shooting at a squirrel.
9Emergency personnel responded to a fire in the quarry behind the trailer park in the N11500 block of Appleton Avenue at 8:10 p.m. April 15. The fire department extinguished the fire, which burned about 1.5 acres of grass.
10Emergency personnel responded to a 911 call at a residence in the W15400 block of Francese Drive at 545 p.m. April 15. When police arrived, they found the caller, a 29-year-old man, was having an argument another man over the singer Kendrick Lamar and had dialed 911 out of frustration. The caller was warned about misusing 911.
Germantown police assisted the fire department with 15 rescue calls between April 9 and April 16.
