Theft

1 A 2003 Pontiac van was reported stolen in the 14700 block of Northpoint Drive at 3 a.m. Feb. 25. The van was later found in Milwaukee. The suspect, a 35-year-old man, is facing a felony charge.

2 Two men who were seen walking away from a 1995 Ford Taurus that drove off the roadway and crashed on the Highway 41 northbound off ramp to eastbound Main Street were taken into custody at 7:35 a.m. Feb. 28, after police discovered the vehicle was stolen in an armed robbery/carjacking in Milwaukee the day before. The suspects, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man and his brother, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, allegedly admitted driving the vehicle, and both were taken into custody for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

3 A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody for shoplifting $621 worth of groceries at Woodman’s, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at 8:15 p.m. March 1. Police discovered the suspect, who had multiple warrants and an open felony case at the time of his arrest, also had drug paraphernalia and an electronic control device in his possession, and he was booked and taken to jail. The driver of the getaway car was also taken into custody for having multiple warrants.

4 A cell phone was stolen out of an employee break room at Village At The Falls, W129 N7055 Northfield Drive, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. March 2.

Drug possession

5 A man was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia after he apparently overdosed inside a bathroom in the 14800 block of Main Street at 8:05 p.m. Feb. 28. He was also taken to jail for having an outstanding warrant.

OWI

6 A 26-year-old man was taken into custody for second-offense OWI after his Honda Civic struck a pole on Main Street and Town Hall Road at 1:45 a.m. Feb. 25. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.12.  He was taken to jail for a probation violation after police discovered he was on probation when this incident occurred.

7 A 59-year-old Hubertus woman was taken into custody for sixth-offense OWI when her black Jeep was pulled over for swerving out of its lane and crossing the center line on Pilgrim Road and Rainbow Drive at 8:40 p.m. Feb. 25. The woman allegedly admitted taking prescription medication earlier that day. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw and transported to jail.

8 A 29-year-old man was taken into custody for second-offense OWI and driving with a revoked license at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., at 11:55 p.m. Feb. 26. A preliminary blood test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.08. He was also cited for failure to install an Ignition Interlock Device.

Menomonee Falls police assisted the fire department with one rescue call between Feb. 23 and March 3.
