Theft

1Two Milwaukee brand drills were stolen out of a conference room at the Germantown Library, N112 W16957 Mequon Road, between the evening of Feb. 14 and the morning of Feb. 15. The drills belonged to a contractor who was doing some work at the library.

2A purse was reported stolen out of a locked vehicle at Anytime Fitness, W175 N11162 Stonewood Drive, at 9:20 a.m. Feb. 18. A window was smashed out.

3Police responded to a retention pond at the end of Kurt Drive after a caller reported a Flower Source van was partially submerged in the water at about 6:35 a.m. Feb. 19. Police spoke to the owner of Flower Source, W156 N11124 Pilgrim Road, who confirmed the van was stolen from the business.

4A man pried open a cash register drawer at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and stole all the cash between the late evening hours of Feb. 18 and the early morning hours of Feb. 19. The suspect fled the lot in a dark-colored Cadillac that was parked near the garden center.

5A male employee at Petco, N96 W18794 County Line Road, was taken into custody for allegedly stealing more than $1,600 from the business by processing fraudulent returns at 12:35 p.m. Feb. 22.

6An employee’s cell phone was reported stolen at MGS Group, W190 N11701 Moldmakers Way, at 5:25 a.m. Feb. 23.

7A 27-year-old female employee at McDonald’s, N112 W15936 Mequon Road, was taken into custody for allegedly stealing a deposit bag containing $1,108 at 12:55 p.m. Feb. 24.

Drug possession

8Two male students were taken into custody at Germantown High School, W180 N11501 River Lane, after a strong smell of marijuana was coming from inside a men’s restroom at about 12:40 p.m. Feb. 24. One male student was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and another male student was taken into custody for possession of marijuana, distributing marijuana on school property and possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds. Another male student was also cited for possession of marijuana after he admitted smoking THC in the restroom.

OWI

9A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody for OWI after several 911 callers reported an erratic driver in a maroon Pontiac just knocked over a mailbox near Pilgrim and Donges Bay roads at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 24. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw.

Vandalism

10A woman threw a rock at the drive-thru window at McDonald’s N96 W17512 County Line Road, damaging the Plexiglass cover at about 5:15 p.m. Feb. 18. An employee gave police the name of the alleged suspect.

Other

11Police received a report that a male student at Germantown High School, W180 N11501 River Lane, created a fake Snap Chat account and was requesting inappropriate pictures at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 16.

12The Germantown Police K9 unit and officers searched a home in the N132 W17000 block of Rockfield Road after the resident, a 36-year-old man, was taken into custody for a probation/parole violation at about 4:10 p.m. Feb. 17. Police found multiple items in the home, including methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The suspect is facing two felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and narcotics.

Germantown police assisted the fire department with 44 rescue calls between Feb. 13 and Feb. 26.
