Theft

1Three females shoplifted clothing, coats and purses by concealing them inside two clothes hampers at Ross Dress For Less, N91 W16101 Falls Parkway, and fled the lot in a newer Toyota Prius with a temporary license plate at about 7:20 p.m. Dec. 12.

2A male shoplifted a cart filled with groceries at Super Pick ’N Save, N77 W14435 Appleton Ave., and fled the lot in a tan or white older Chevy Impala at about 5:40 p.m. Dec. 22.

3An envelope containing $200 in $20 bills was stolen out of a man’s back pocket while he was shopping at Woodman’s, W124 N8145 Highway 145, at about 1:55 p.m. Dec. 23. The pickpocketing incident was captured on surveillance video, which showed a male taking the envelope out of the man’s pocket.

4Two males driving a dark-colored pickup truck stole about 54 wood pallets, valued at $20 each, at TJ Hale, W139 N9499 Highway 145, at about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 24.

5A female shoplifted three North Face brand jackets, valued at $75, and two bags filled with an unknown amount of merchandise at Ross Dress For Less, N91 W16101 Falls Parkway, at about 7:50 p.m. Dec. 27. The female was last seen walking toward the parking lot.

6Two females shoplifted $1,269 worth of name brand women’s perfumes and men’s colognes at Ulta, N91 W16051 Falls Parkway, and fled the lot in a black Toyota Corolla that was waiting for them in the parking lot at about 12:05 p.m. Dec. 30.

7A 20-year-old West Bend man was taken into custody for four counts of shoplifting after it was discovered he stole $1,140 worth of DVDs at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, during four separate incidents between Dec. 6 and 12:35 p.m. Dec. 31. The man stole the DVDs by taking them out of their cases and concealing them in his waistband.

8Two females shoplifted $1,658 worth of fragrances at Ulta, N91 W16051 Falls Parkway, and fled the lot in an older model, dark red Chevy Impala or Malibu with dark tinted windows at about 8:35 p.m. Jan. 2.

9A 43-year-old man and a female shoplifted six rechargeable power tools and tool kits at Home Depot, N94 W18375 Thunder Ridge Road, and fled the lot in a silver Chevy Uplander minivan at 7:10 a.m. Jan. 4. The man is also wanted for shoplifting power tools at the Mukwonago Home Depot.

10A Motorola Droid Turbo 2 cell phone was stolen out of an unlocked truck at Marcus Cinema, W180 N9393 Premier Lane, between 9:10 and 9:25 p.m. Jan. 4.

11A 26-foot Loadmaster landscaping trailer was stolen from at Wandsnider and Associates, W185 N7493 Narrow Lane, between midnight Jan. 3 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 5. The trailer was parked in an outdoor rental space and the hitch was locked.

12Five people who were seen concealing merchandise at Ulta, N91 W16051 Falls Parkway, ran out of the store when followed and confronted by employees and fled the lot in a white Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck with a gray topper and no rear license plate at about 8:40 p.m. Jan. 5. The suspects are described as two men, two women and a 10-year-old boy.

Assault

13A woman was punched in the nose by a female coworker at Arandall Corp., N82 W13118 Leon Road, at about 1:45 p.m. Dec. 27. The suspect, a 25-year-old woman who worked for a temporary job service, walked off the job after she punched the victim and was not found. Once located, she will be cited for disorderly conduct/assault.

OWI

14A woman was taken into custody for OWI after two 911 callers reported her vehicle was swerving and stopping at green lights on Appleton Avenue and University Drive at about 8:10 p.m. Dec. 21. The woman allegedly told police she drank two glasses of wine, and a preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.25. She was booked, cited and released.

15A 23-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI after he was found, unconscious, in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with his foot on the brake and the engine running on Town Line Road just north of Menomonee Avenue at about 2:55 a.m. Dec. 23. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of .016.

16A 64-year-old woman whose vehicle was seen driving 40 mph in a 25-mph zone was taken into custody for OWI and was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on Pilgrim and Lisbon roads at about 9:35 p.m. Dec. 24. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.21.

17A 37-year-old man was taken into custody for third offense OWI after he was found passed out inside his vehicle with a partially empty bottle of vodka in the center console and the engine running on Shady Lane and Joss Place at about 10:40 p.m. Dec. 23. He was too intoxicated for field sobriety and breath tests and was taken to the hospital for a blood draw.

18A 50-year-old man whose vehicle was pulled over for running a red light was taken into custody for fifth offense OWI on Appleton and Menomonee avenues at 2:50 a.m. Dec. 25. The man, who had a PAC restriction of 0.02 due to past OWI convictions, had a 0.08 blood alcohol content. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, then taken to jail.

19A 27-year-old man was taken into custody for fourth offense OWI after he was pulled over and cited for driving with a suspended license on Main Street and Elder Lane at about 3 a.m. Dec. 31. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, booked, cited and released after posting bond.

20Officers responding to a report of a suspicious, occupied vehicle in the 6100 block of Marvel Drive took the driver, a 44-year-old man, into custody for fifth offense OWI after he was found sleeping inside the vehicle at about 11:30 a.m. Dec. 31. He allegedly admitted drinking alcohol before driving, and a preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.21. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw and transported to jail.

21A 35-year-old man was taken into custody for third offense OWI after his vehicle was pulled over for speeding on Appleton Avenue and Woosencraft Drive at 2:55 a.m. Jan. 1. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.13. He was booked, cited and released after posting bond.

Other

22A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman who caused a disturbance at her workplace, Noodles and Company, W176 N9336 River Crest Drive, and was combative with police was taken into custody after an officer had to deploy an electronic control device at about 7:40 p.m. Jan. 2. She was cited for resisting/obstructing police, and possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon after police found THC and an electronic weapon inside her vehicle.

Menomonee Falls police assisted the fire department with three rescue calls between Dec. 21 and Jan. 7.
