1A 30-year-old man who was seen shoplifting electronics and other merchandise with another man at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, was taken into custody after he ran out of the store after being confronted by security at about 4:25 p.m. Dec. 16. He was also taken into custody for having an active warrant with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and was taken to jail. The other man drove off with the stolen merchandise and was not found.

2A woman shoplifted four bottles of Hennessy by concealing them inside her purse at Citgo, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, and then fled as a passenger in a Jeep Liberty at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 21. Police have identified both the shoplifter and the driver, and discovered both have been involved in similar shoplifting thefts.


3Police went to Whiskey Corners, W220 N6410 Town Line Road, for a report that a man was struck in the head with a pool cue by a female bar patron at 2:35 a.m. Dec. 18. The suspect, who was identified by at least one witness, fled before police arrived and is being sought for questioning. The man was bleeding from the ear when police arrived, but he refused medical attention.


4A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken into custody and cited for OWI after she was found passed out in the driver’s seat of her running vehicle, with her 5-year-old daughter in the back seat, on Lilly and Good Hope roads at 1:05 a.m. Dec. 18. The woman, who was responsive and argumentative when police arrived, allegedly admitted drinking alcohol at a party prior to driving. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.19.


Menomonee Falls police assisted the fire department with one fire call between Dec. 16 and Dec. 21.
