1A male and a female shoplifted school supplies at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and fled in a yellow Hummer at about 7:10 p.m. Aug. 14.

2Election equipment was reported stolen from the American Legion, N120 W15932 Freistadt Road, at 10:25 a.m. Aug. 15. Police later discovered the stolen equipment was obsolete and had no value.


3A woman was cited for battery when she allegedly assaulted another woman in the W211 N11700 block of Hilltop Circle at 7:55 p.m. Aug. 17.


4A 43-year-old man was taken into custody and cited for OWI after his vehicle crashed into a parked car on Squire Drive and Squire Court at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 18. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw.

5A 38-year-old man was taken into custody for OWI and eluding after he failed to pull over for a traffic stop on Highway 41 and Lannon Road, and led police on a pursuit at about 12:40 a.m. Aug. 20. The pursuit ended when the suspect drove his vehicle into a ditch on Highway 41 near Western Avenue.


6One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle that braked after a turkey or pheasant ran into the roadway on Freistadt and River Lane at 6 a.m. Aug. 11. The driver of the striking vehicle was cited for inattentive driving.

Germantown police assisted the fire department with 24 rescue calls and two fire calls between Aug. 14 and Aug. 21.
