Book blind date 

February is Love Your Library month, and the library is bringing back its Blind Date with a Book contest through Feb. 28.  Throughout this month, check out a wrapped book from the library's display. Clues are provided to help patrons choose books, but the covers are hidden for a surprise reading choice. Patrons can use the form inside the book to rate their date and be entered to win an Amazon gift card.

Doggy Tales

Sign up for a time slot to read one-on-one to Dakota, the golden retriever. Children can read aloud for practice, fun or just some doggy time. Registration is required. Call 262-246-5182 to register for a session. Sessions are 6 to 7 p.m., second and fourth Thursdays, through May 25.

Lego Club

Imagine, design, build and exhibit creations at Lego Club from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1. For ages 4 and up.

Youth art exhibit

The Youth Art Month exhibit will be open March 1 to 31 at the library to celebrate the creativity and artistic talents of Hamilton School District students. Family and friends are encouraged to visit and view the art on display all month.

Art month reception

Meet the artists and their teachers and enjoy refreshments and activities sponsored by the Friends of the Pauline Haass Library from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.

Public libraries history: The "History of Public Libraries," free presentation by Tomi Tay Forbes, 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 23, Quad/Graphics Room of the library. No registration required. Library, 262-246-5180.
