Public libraries history

The "History of Public Libraries," part of “Love Your Library,” is set for 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 23.

In this free presentation by Tomi Tay Forbes, attendees will learn about a time when communities were building libraries for public use throughout the country. This program will be held in the Quad/Graphics Room of the library. No registration is required. For more information, call the library at 262-246-5180.

Reminders

Tax help: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, through to Apr. 17. Appointments with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be held at the library meeting room in the Civic Center. Appointments are required. Library, 262-246-5181.

Family Storytime: ​10 a.m. Tuesday through April 14. The half-hour traditional story time will delight all ages. Attendees enjoy books, finger plays, songs, movement and puppetry.

Little Readers Playgroup: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, through April 14. Discover the library's cheerful and engaging early literacy learning areas.
