Tax help

"Get Help Preparing and Filing Your Taxes" is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 7 to Apr. 17.

The library is partnering with the Sussex Senior Center to bring in free tax preparation assistance from AARP volunteers. Appointments with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be held at the library meeting room in the Civic Center Mondays from Feb. 7 through April 17. Appointments are required. Call the library at 262-246-5181 to schedule.

Flipster magazine access

Library patrons can get instant access to their favorite magazines with Flipster. Magazines’ current and back issues are now available to read on a computer or mobile device for free. Search or browse over 100 titles that are available to stream or download — all patrons need is a library card. Family Storytime

​Family Storytime is held daily at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, Jan. 24 to April 14. The half-hour traditional storytime will delight all ages. Attendees enjoy books, finger plays, songs, movement and puppetry.

Little Readers Playgroup 

Little Readers Playgroup is held daily at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, Jan. 24, to April 14. Stay a little longer for some together-time play following storytime each day.  Discover the library's cheerful and engaging early literacy learning areas.

Reminders

Lego Club: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1. For ages 4 and up.

Doggy Tales: Sign up for a time slot to read one-on-one to Dakota, the golden retriever, from  6 to 7 p.m., the second and fourth Thursday of the month, Jan. 26 through May 25. Registration is required; 262-246-5182.
