Trivia Night

The Menomonee Falls Optimist Club will hold a trivia night at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at St. Agnes School, 12800 Fairmount Ave., Butler.

Tables of 10 are $150 or $15 per person. Teams and team names are needed. Teams are invited to wear costumes and bring table decorations and bring adult drinks, soda and snacks. This event is not for trivia buffs, but for fun. Teams must be registered by Monday, Jan. 23. Checks can be sent to Sue Jeskewitz at N80 W17429 Robin Circle, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.

Kiwanis news

The Kiwanis Club of Menomonee Falls will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Trysting Place Pub, N71 W12980 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls.

The cost is adults $10, children under 10 are free.

Blood drive

Holy Cross Lutheran Church, W156 N8131 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, will hold a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in the Trinity Center.

Zumba classes

A new session of Zumba classes has started, meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. every Thursday at the Frontier Park Community Center, 13015 W. Custer Ave., Butler.

Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to follow-moves, creating a dynamic workout.

Writers group

The Germantown Park and Recreation Department is offering a writers group for those 55 and older.

The group is for new and experienced writers, looking to promote the joy of writing and willing to help each other find their voice. They meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. every second and fourth Monday of the month in the Germantown Senior Center, W162 N11960 Park Ave., room 112.

Vendor needed

The Community League of Menomonee Falls is looking for vendors for its Spring Marketplace to be held April 8.

The League is looking for individuals or businesses to provide a demonstration or be a commercial party vendor at the show held at Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive.
