1An employee’s purse was reported stolen out of the back room at Rue 21, N96 W19140 County Line Road, at noon Aug. 7.
2A woman was taken into custody for battery and vandalism after she called police to report she was involved in a physical fight with her boyfriend in the W158 N9700 block of Sumac Road at 1:20 a.m. Aug. 7.
3A 20-year-old man was taken into custody for possession of marijuana after he was found lying in the roadway in the W148 N10100 block of Windsong Circle East at 5:40 a.m. Aug. 1. The suspect told police he was walking home from a friend’s house and believes he passed out and fell.
4A man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle on Mequon Road and Montgomery Drive at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 2. The driver of the striking vehicle was given a warning for following too close.
5Police are investigating a report that a man exposed himself to two boys walking on Pilgrim Road and Starlite Drive on the morning of July 30. The suspect is described as a 40- to 50-year-old male in a maroon Honda SUV.
6Police responded to Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., after receiving a report that a woman was walking around the store with no shoes on and looking confused at 6:25 a.m. Aug. 3. The woman told police she lost her shoes, phone and car keys and didn’t know where she was. It was later discovered the woman drove to Walmart with an unknown male with the intention of shoplifting merchandise to exchange for drugs, and while the woman was in the store, the man left with the vehicle, which was later reported as stolen.
7A 49-year-old Germantown man is facing a felony charge of mistreatment of animals/causing death after he was seen driving erratically and purposely hitting geese in the roadway on Esquire and Queens courts at 7 a.m. Aug. 3.
Germantown Police assisted the fire department with 20 rescue calls between July 31 and Aug. 7.
