Want to watch the Predators play in the Stanley Cup Finals? It will cost you.

Predators fan Georgina Zetina celebrates after the Predators score against the Ducks on Monday, May 22, 2017.

The running price in the nosebleed section for the June 3 home game is $825. Center ice, second row can run up to a cool $7,800, according to resale site Tickets.Expert. Earlier in the day a pair of tickets was listed as $15,000 each. Stubhub's starting price for a June 3 ticket is $749, as of 1 p.m.

The price for the Predators game on StubHub is higher than tickets to watch the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals on June 1. Those tickets are listed as $554 on Stubhub.

The city's hockey popularity is also outshining its Stanley Cup competitors. The starting price on StubHub for a finals ticket is twice as high in Nashville than in Ottawa and Pittsburgh for the opening games. Tickets on StubHub start at $333 for the potential May 29 in Pittsburgh and $372 for the potential Ottawa game.

The first game played in Nashville is on a Saturday night, which could account for some of the disparity, along with the uncertainty about where the away games will be played.

The Nashville Predators do not recommend resale sites because of potential counterfeit sales. Spokeswoman Natalie Aronson said tickets will be available later today on the team’s site and on Ticketmaster.com. Check back for details on Tennessean.com.

Aronson said the team is seeing increased demand for season tickets for next year, given the team's historic season. Season ticket holders have guaranteed playoff tickets.

“There is a lot of excitement around our team, seeing how well our season's gone,” Aronson said. “People want to be a part of that.”
