Preventing identity theft
Identity theft is a nightmare, whether it involves the loss of just one credit card or the theft of your entire identity. At 7 p.m. Monday, April 24, a detective from the Menomonee Falls Police Department will instruct citizens on how to avoid being the victim of this type of crime.
Generations Genealogy Interest Group will explore the topic of "Passenger List Searches" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24. This group is for new and intermediate genealogists wanting to learn more. Registration is required.
The library’s spring book sale will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29. Thursday is Patron Day. Present your Menomonee Falls or Waukesha or Jefferson County library card and get a free book. From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday is the library's bag sale; fill a grocery bag for $5.
