The state of Wisconsin requires any dog over the age of five months to be licensed. Bring veterinary proof of the rabies vaccine and an application to your community's governing center. The Sussex Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Bunny Lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8.
The event features games, lunch, pictures with Mr. E. Bunny and crafts. The event is for all ages, but geared to those 8 and younger. The Sussex-Lisbon Historical Society runs the Fred H. Keller History Museum, located in the Sussex Civic Center, Suite 240, N64 W23760 Main St., Sussex.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Special visits can also be arranged. The museum will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, with door prizes and parting gifts for visitors. The museum will have normal hours until 4 p.m. that day. Admission is $4, children 10 and younger are admitted free.
