Third Space Brewing, which opened in Milwaukee in 2016, is opening a second location in Menomonee Falls. Third Space Innovation Brewhouse is expected to open in June of 2024 at Good Hope Road and Appleton Avenue.

Milwaukee's Third Space Brewing is planning to open a second location in Menomonee Falls.

Third Space Innovation Brewhouse has a target opening date of June 2024.

The first phase of the project will focus on opening the taproom and restaurant portions, with the brewery to follow, according to company officials.

Third Space Innovation Brewhouse will be housed the site of the former Trysting Place Pub, a Menomonee Falls favorite that closed in September 2020. The building was torn down and a new development called Fussville Station is now under construction at the site.

Third Space Brewing co-founder and brewmaster Kevin Wright, left, and co-founder and president Andy Gehl, right, cheers at the construction site for Third Space Innovation Brewhouse, a new brewery that is slated to open in Menomonee Falls this June.

Third Space currently operates a Milwaukee taproom and a seasonal Elm Grove beer garden.

“Our current taproom has become well known as the place to be for big events like Wisconsin IPA Fest and Ice Bear Fest, and we have cultivated a great group of regulars who have made our taproom their own 'third space,'" said Andy Gehl, co-founder and president.

"Opening a second location in the heart of where so many people live and work offers a great opportunity for a much larger group of people to connect with the Third Space Brewing brand," he said.

What is Fussville Station?

Fussville Station is a new mixed-use development that will house retail space, 173 apartments and additional restaurant space, according to village documents. Developers are planning for an opening sometime in 2024.

Where will Third Space Innovation Brewhouse be located?

Third Space Innovation Brewhouse will be at the corner of Good Hope Road and Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls.

How big will Third Space Innovation Brewhouse be?

According to company officials, the brewery will be about 5,000 square feet and will include a 112-seat indoor taproom, a 10-barrel innovation brewery and a kitchen for food service.

Will there be outdoor seating?

There will be a large covered outdoor patio with fire pits.

Will Third Space Innovation Brewhouse be hiring?

Yes, Third Space Innovation Brewhouse will be hiring team members for managerial, kitchen and taproom positions.
