It's been a while since we've checked in on the daughters of President Barack Obama Sasha, left, and Malia, right. They made the news recently when Elizabeth Lauten communications director for U.S. Rep. Steve Fincher, R-Tenn. , made controversial comments about their demeanor and appearance as they listen to their father pardoning the National Thanksgiving Turkey at the White House on Nov. 2014.

Elizabeth Lauten, wrote that the girls should have shown more class. Lauten later resigned and apologized for the comments on her Facebook page that had drawn harsh criticism.
